Ok! Final Power Plants!

Coal, Oil, Natural Gas, Wind, Solar (Photovoltaic), Solar (Heated Water), Geothermal, Incinerating (Waste to Energy). With requirements we have these. Nuclear Fission, Breeder Nuclear Fission, Biomass (Farm pop. 400), Thermal, Tidal (Two Kinds), Hydro-Electric, Microwave, Nuclear Fusion.

Sounds good? That is what I want--Variety.

You buy all the land buy cutting out your piece of land that you want. And mayors don't build houses. The people order workers to. Or the build the subdivision for people to move in when they want to. SimCity5 will be very real. But I you buy all the and when you cut out the piece of land you want. I suppose you could buy more outside what you cut out, though. Thanks for posting we might be able to use them.

maxis gave up working on sim5 because it was getting too complicated. they might get back to it because of how much everyone didnt like societies, but i dont know. but in the way of making it less complicated i have a few ideas, but again this might be in the direction of a whole nother game.

bring back the RCI, maybe R creates demand for C, C for I, and I for R. but take out RCI zoning. instead, the player must buy large plots of land and set how high buildings can be built (like zoning), but each plot of land remains separate and can be named something. each plot of land is a "neighborhood" or "district." in a purchased neighborhood, the player can build buildings, &/or the game can build buildings if the player gives his/her consent for that building. consent, or "autobuild" can be turned on or off, and a pop up window asking for consent can be turned on or off.

if a player builds a building, he/she pays to build it, and he/she owns it, and may lease it or sell it to the game. if the game builds a building, the game pays the player for the plot of land to build it on, owns the building, and may lease it, or sell it to the player. im going back and forth on weather to include traffic and road connection because in some cases, its ridiculous. if we want to make the game less complicated when it comes to traffic, roads could be for the purpose of building. say that maybe the game only wants to build commercial buildings on large roads, and residential and industrial on small buildings.

I agree with most of the suggestions above, especially those of "mystery." I also think that the circle of protection for fire or police stations, etc. should be larger, because fire stations and other public services are farther apart in real life than in sim city 4. I also think water should be able to come from mountains and make waterfalls too, so if you want a mountain stream, you dont need a huge valley. Make hydroelectric power available again like from sim city 2000.

for simcity 5:
I missed some of the surveying options from simcity 3 (or was it 2k) There was an option which showed the zones AND parks/schools etc. It made it easier to see where space was available. In sim city 4 , when viewing the zones i dont see the public areas.

hi-tech/dirty industry. It'd make more sense to actually zone for dirty industy and clean industry instead of low/high density.

- in SC4, harbors are too small and do too little to stimulate industry

- monorails/elevated rails in the middle/over avenues.

- city should be able to offer free public transport

- easier underground construction for say avenues, rail, highways.. tunnels dont need mountains to be dug.

- plant more than 1 tree! or something like a city office which plants a number of trees per month automatically, at a cost ofcourse.

bob zoning system is still there, because societies isnt real sim city.

a pollution tube... do those exist? We can only put them in if they exist.

And theres a new tax system! First off, there is the property tax, which is in sim city 4. Theres also sales tax, energy tax, income tax, and lots others! Its really cool!

more zone types and styles that you dont have to download and the zones should adapt to other zones like if theres apartments then the other zones should adapt, also make getting rid of pollution easier like making a underground tube that can lead from an industrial zone to another city of which you can release pollution, but at a price :)

I think the zoning system should return, except with the features .... well featured, in societies, like if the "feel" of your city changes (for example from a farming town to a industrial town) the zones should automatically demolish and rebuild to the new theme to give it the right feel.
